On May 17th, 2009, the MBA delegation of eighteen people from Tampere University of Finland visited Guangzhou. Deputy Director-General Wang Fuchun from Foreign Affairs Office of Guangzhou Municipal People’s Government and one official from Bureau of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation of Guangzhou Municipality gave the delegation speeches about Guangzhou’ s sister city work and trade and economic cooperation with foreign countries. The delegation also visited Chen Clan Academy and Yuntai Garden.
Tampere is the 21st sister city of Guangzhou. The two cities signed the Agreement on the Establishment of Sister City Relationship last December.
